TOP 5 FREE GAMES FOR YOUR IPHONE

After spending nearly 30k for your iPhone, some of you would be really frustrated when you find out that you have to pay additional charges for playing all those cool games in the AppStore. Well, don't worry, today I'm going to introduce the best 5 free games for your iPhone. I don't claim them to be better than the paid ones, but they are sure worth playing.

5. LABYRINTH LITE

This is the iPhone version of the classic labyrinth game; where you can play by tilting your phone and guiding the metal ball to its marked destination. But it is not as simple as that, with lots of gaping holes in your path, it requires very delicate movements to clear each level.

The HD version, also available in the iPad has stunning graphics and precise physics. The lite version contains only 10 playable levels and for $3 (a little too much for a board game!!)  You can buy the full version with 1000 levels to play!!

4. PARKING MANIA LITE

I can confidently say that this is the most addictive parking game in the AppStore. You wouldn’t be able to put the phone down as some levels are excruciatingly difficult and completing them with 5 stars (you get 5 stars for completing the level without one single crash and collecting all coins) becomes a challenge.

Get to know of your natural driving instincts without the need of injuries or insurances. One con I can say is that the accelerator pad can get stuck sometime. This can be really frustrating if that makes you crash when you were about to complete a level.

So hurry up and get this lite version with 15 levels; and one more thing – level 5 can take everything out of you.

3. FRUIT NINJA

With over 6 million copies sold in the AppStore, Fruit Ninja is a game you wouldn’t want to miss being an iPhone user. Get ready to slice your way through juicy fruits and explosive bombs.

The splashy graphics are great to watch and make the game even more enjoyable. You can earn combo points by slashing many fruits in one swipe; but beware of the bombs as hitting it can end your ninja run.

The new 1.7.1 version comes with minor bug fixes and the lite version only allows classic mode with maximum attainable high score at 150 only.

2. ANGRY BIRDS

If anyone ever asks me why I love playing games in the iPhone, I would show them Angry Birds. It’s a really fun filled addictive game featuring very very angry birds. The goal of each level is to kill all the egg stealing pigs.

The pigs will be hiding in structures made of wood, metal and glass and aiming your birds at the weakness of each structure can bring them down on top of the snivelling pigs. Clearing each level with the least number of shots can earn you 3 stars like you have seen in many other iPhone games.

You have many different birds in your arsenal including the simple red cannonballer, the yellow dive bomber which pierces structures when clicked mid-air. The other type, which is the most destructive, is the blue bird which splits into three and can bring any structure down to a pile of rubble.

Don’t rush off to get the game; you still have to see the winner

1. CUT THE ROPE

Here comes our winner of the day. Cut The Rope takes gaming on your iPhone to the next level due to its sheer fun factor. It’s incredibly lovable and you can play it all day long.

A parcel arrives at the door containing the very adorable monster Om Nom; and he has only one request – that is to feed him with candy!!

Combining cute graphics with outstanding physics and tricky levels, Cut The Rope is the first iOS game to win the BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) award for the best hand held game of 2011

To get the maximum points in each level, you must also get all three golden stars and this can become increasingly difficult in higher levels with sneaky spiders and spiked rods. In short, it would be really a shame, if you guys miss playing this game having an iPhone in your hands.

TOP 5 COOL THINGS YOU CAN DO IN ASSASSINS CREED BROTHERHOOD

Ezio Auditore da Firenze
. I simply love saying that name and he's back in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. The game picks up from the ending of AC 2 and is a pretty impressive sequel with quite a few additions in game play. So today's post is the top 5 cool things you can do in AC brotherhood. Hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

5. VIRTUAL TRAINING

The virtual training program is a new addition to the Animus 2.0 in Assassins Creed Brotherhood. It’s like a challenge series with several missions not directly related to the main story but meant for taking a break and improving the player’s skills in combat and free-run.

It’s also a nice platform for creating personal records in combat events and comparing them with your friends. The score is calculated by multiplying number of guards killed with your highest kill streak; so players get extra points for having large kill streaks which is rather a difficult skill to acquire but is very useful in the story mode.
Although it’s a nice addition to the game, you’ll get bored of it after some time; so the Virtual Training only gets at No.5 in our list.

4. ASSASSINATION FROM HORSEBACK

For the first time in Assassins Creed, Ezio is able to use horses inside a city. Players can also renovate the stables at Rome and will be able to whistle for horses to come to them, which is a big relief for exploring the very BIG city of Rome

Well that’s not all; you can now assassinate mounted guards from your horse, which is pretty awesome to watch. Ezio will time his jump from his horse to the guard’s horse and after killing the guy with his favourite assassination blade will continue to ride on the guard’s horse.
Unlike the other games in the AC series, while on horseback, Ezio is able to use most of his weapons, both long and short-ranged; however this excludes any heavy or two-handed weapon.

3. PARACHUTE

How many times have you cursed yourself for falling down from rooftops and losing your life in AC? Well I don’t know about you guys but I definitely have cursed myself many many times. Well the solution is finally here in AC brotherhood. Parachutes from Da Vinci(who else?).

Aside from using it to slow down his fall, Ezio can use the parachute to manoeuvre through the air. While using the parachute, he may release it at any time to drop down, and either land or perform an air assassination. You will be able to get a hold of it once you finished all Leonardo Da Vinci missions and will be available for purchase at any tailor shops. This time also Ubisoft have used original Da Vinci drawings to design the parachutes like they have done with the flying machine and his war machine.

2. MULTI-PLAYER MODE

This post wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t mention about the multiplayer mode in AC brotherhood. It’s the real reason behind Ubisoft inserting a game between AC 2 & AC 3 and they have done it pretty impressively. They have successfully translated the running, jumping and stealth-kill game play of the single-player game into a functional multiplayer experience.

The multiplayer game design needs a bit of explanation. You play as an assassin dressed up in one of six different outfits -- there's noble attire, for instance, or clothing suited to a merchant or a priest -- and you're placed in a city populated with similarly attired characters, you goal is to identify and kill all your opponents. If any of your opponents realises that you are sneaking up from behind, they’ll run like hell and you have to chase and finish them. If your opponent manages to outrun you and escape you’ll have to start all over again.

1. ASSASSIN RECRUIT

Well it’s time for Ezio to lean back and take a break. Now he has got assassin recruits to do all his dirty works. Yep that’s right! Now you don’t have to run away from fights if you are low on health, just call the recruits and they’ll finish the job for you. This is the most awesome feature of AC brotherhood and deserves to be the number one in our list. These recruits are normal citizens saved by Ezio Auditore from the rough streets of Rome, during the war against the Templars. They subsequently devoted themselves to learning the ways of the Assassin Guild, motivated by their drive for revenge against the Borgia for corrupting their beautiful city.

These recruits can be sent to contract mission to Europe and Asia to improve their skills and ranks. While not on contracts they will help Ezio in fights and can be used to call an arrow strike in which case they’ll fire arrows and kill ALL enemies near Ezio. Pretty cool stuff, right?

TOP 5 TIPS ON PLAYING NEED FOR SPEED WORLD

Need For Speed World is an online racing game from EA GAMES which turned out to be a huge hit in the gaming world due to its freeware nature and its potential for limitless upgrades. Today’s post is for all beginners of NFS World, these tips will help you get better in the game and will make you prepare for the challenges in the game.

5. PLAY PURSUITS REGULARLY

The first priority for you while playing Need For Speed World is to increase your level. You will begin from level 1 and can go upto level 50. The more the level you are at, the more respect you will get from other racers and ofcourse the more skill you will get.

Pursuits are an efficient way to increase you REP and will enable you to reach higher levels faster. Unlike the other installments of the NFS series, the cops in World are lot more meaner and sharper, so you will need some preparation beforehand especially if your heat level is 4 or 5 like equipping these powerups in adequate amounts – run flats, emergency evade, instant cooldown, juggernaut.

The higher heat level and longer pursuit length are crucial factors in determining the REP you will get. The best thing to do is to choose a highway for your pursuit as it will give you more width to avoid roadblocks and chances of getting boxed in by cops are low. The best place to evade is the baseball stadium where there are two pursuit brakers adjacent to each other and a hiding spot near too.

4. THE RACERS YOU ARE GOING TO MEET

There are mainly three kind of racers you will meet in Need For Speed World. They are:

<i> Clean Racers
They will concentrate in their own game and taking every turns perfectly and will most probably appreciate other racers after every race. They are quite harmless and hanging out with them can be quite enjoyable

<ii> Rammers
Keep away from these guys. You can identify someone as a rammer in the way they overtake someone. They won’t just overtake them, they’ll ram you to the wall and in turns while overtaking which can be really frustrating if you are in the receiving part of it. Do not ever get into a ram war with them, that’ll just slow you down, the best thing to do is to get past them when they are busy with someone else.

<iii> Quitters
If there is anyone who is annoying than a rammer, it is a quitter. They give up on races when they are last in a race or even when they are placed last in the starting grid. Some quitters try to ruin someone else’s race before quitting and that is totally not cool.

3. CHOOSING YOUR CARS

Choosing your car in Need For Speed World is not an easy task. You just can’t compare car A and car B by simply looking at the statistics; you might be quite sure that car A is better than B from the stats but then again you will be surprised when B just simply out powers A.

Handling is the most crucial thing you need to look in your car. The better you can maneuver in the turns, the better the chances of you wining. But speed and acceleration cannot be neglected completely. The best cars in my experience are the follows in respective tiers

Tier 1: Nissan Silvia (with pro tuned parts, it can outclass most tier 3 cars). Don't be surprised when you hear that you can buy 60 silvias for the price of a BMW M3.
Tier 2: Lotus Elise
Tier 3: BMW M3

2. SKILLS YOU NEED TO TAKE

Skills you choose makes all the difference in Need For Speed World. You will be able to upgrade one skill per one level up. So you have to choose your skills correctly to become a good racer in the game. The skills you need to get ASAP are the follows:

Catch Up – Boost your car’s perforamce if you are in 3rd place or lower
Ram – Makes your car heavy. Which is quite useful in pursuits and in collisions, because you won’t lose much speed
Rampage – Increases Juggernaut time
Rolling fortress – Increases shield time
Supershot – Increases NOS time
Strong Finisher – Increases performance when One More Lap is active

I have not included the most important skills in this list because you will need level 20 to get them. They are Dragster, Need For Speed, Nerves of Steel which increase you cars acceleration, top speed and handling respectively. So when you reach level 20 get them one by one.

1. KNOW YOUR TRACK

While playing races in Need For Speed World, there is one thing you should always keep in mind. You must never quit any race no matter how behind you are; because there is always the possibility that someone else might make a mistake and even if you finish last, you will get REP.

To finish first in a multiplayer race is no easy task; especially when there are 8 players present. The crucial element here is to understand the track. Familiarize with the track by playing single player; find out the hardest turns, shortcuts, and pursuit breakers in the track and practice until you can navigate without crashing.

This will give you an upperhand in the race and with the right car and skills, you can rule the World
